![]() SimCity base game exists in EA app, but Cities of Tomorrow is unable to be downloaded. EA app's not recognizing those that are no longer in sale now.įor example, there was 'SimCity Plus Edition' includes base SimCity (the game after SimCity 4) and Cities of Tomorrow expansion. We didn't lose proof of purchases and rights to access contents. We were able to use them in Origin, and if that installation exists then it works on EA app until we uninstall the game contents and tries to reinstall. (with one exception: Bulletstorm is in the library as Bulletstorm (Lite) but what's lite?) Will update this thread if a solution becomes available.ANY CONTENTS that is CURRENTLY NOT SALE (no way to purchase same bundle or content in current EA web store) are completely unavailable using EA app. PS: I have asked for help from EA support. So, if you are thinking about getting DS2, and have concerns about the DLC, think twice about getting it through Origin. Still, I got the EA Humble Bundle primarily because of DS2, so bleh. At least I got it from Humble Bundle, so most of my money went to charity, not to mention I got Dragon Age 1 & 2, and Mass Effect 2, among others. Meaning ammo drops are crazy, and blueprints, pointless - diluting the original Dead Space experience. But sadly, come first store, all the free crapware (DLC) still exists. The second time, I have auto-updates disabled.ĭeleted all saved games, played the game a third time - not updated and offline from Origin's Cloud Sync. ![]() I have downloaded and played the game twice. So I guess another game client wouldn't hurt. ![]() I didn't want another game distribution client in my PC, but heck, I got DS2 from Humble Bundle's EA Bundle. ![]() Among all the solutions to the DLC problem, I chose downloading the game through Origin as the easiest. ![]()
